After years of apartment living, married couple Joe and Laura move into a camper at a rundown trailer park so they can finally save for the dream house they’re convinced is within reach.

 

Then reality kicks the slam-latch door in.

 

Laura loses her job almost immediately. The camper is so small she can hear Joe breathing from the toilet. The neighbors range from mildly unhinged to legally concerning. And while Laura grows increasingly desperate to keep their future alive, Joe starts adapting to trailer park life a little too well — drinking beer at noon, wrestling the neighbor who wears JNCO jeans, and settling into the kind of routine that ends with police lights and a cookout in the same afternoon.

As the money disappears and the park’s chaos pulls them deeper in, Joe and Laura find themselves trapped between the future they planned and the weirdly comfortable disaster they’ve created.
